Sagami Kite festival

Last weekend we had a barbeque at the home of Saitonen from Samuli's office.

(Samuli's bald spot is getting bigger and brighter every year...)

Riikka was teaching the Japanese guys how to use Nordic walking poles


With some success...


The main event was flying of Japan's biggest kites close to Saitonen's home. The day was unfortunately not quite windy, so only the smallest (!!!) kite was able to fly. And only for about 20 seconds. The smallest kite was quite big though!

The following day had some more wind and even the bigger kites were flying (but we were no longer there...).
